Upgrade suggestions

Hi guys I have decided to get rid of my old rig only cpu.
My budget 15k.Alredy have hdd,dvd rw,monitor.
After a bit of research i came up with foll:

Motherboard: Gigabyte EP31-DS3L 3.3k / Intel DG31PR
Processor: E7200 5.4K //fixed
RAM: Transcend 2x1GB DDR2 800MHz 2k
SMPS:CM 460 W 1.7k
Cabinet: ?
GPU: ATI 3850HD 5.6k [or hd 4670 will wait hope it cms soon]
Already 18k
Any suggestions for above config?
Also do tell me a low range cabinet.
wills sell off old mb,proc,cabby,ram for maybe app ~2k
effectively 16k now.
Plz suggest a cabinet ws thnking of iball worhorse?

Hmm, you cud wait for the 4670 and 4650(both perform similarly, but 4670 is a tad costlier with GDDR3 memory). They will have lower(much much) TDP than 3850(by a big margin, havn't you heard 3850 has Overheating issues??)

And if u're gonna wait, then a E5200(I hope it comes soon) for 4k probably will be a very sweet deal, bringing your PC budget to ~15k

Well, go for that gigabyte P31 board. How did you manage to find one ? P31s are supposed to be rare in India from what I have seen and they OverClock very well compared to G31 and G33, and perhaps in the level of Q35, next to only P35.

And yeah, consider waiting for HD4670. Don't go for HD4650 - its around 600 rupees cheaper, but it has DDR2 instead of GDDR3 and has a little lower clock speed. Its just not worth the price difference.

You might want to wait and see if the Intel E5200 hits the market soon enough or not. It can cost 3.5K to 4K, it has 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache and 2.5GHz Clock Speed.

if that gigabyte board is not available, get gigabyte G31 instead of P31.
but never get intel original mobos.

As I said before, if he doesn't get P31, this is the next best choice. This is MUCH BETTER compared to DG31PR. But yes, P31 is a must try if he wants to overclock a lot.

Ga-P31-DS3l is avla ble at 3.4k will go with tht
Psu Cm390 @1.5k(dnt go by its less wattage it has great efficiency)
iball gamer cabinet @ 900 bucks
