HDD Problem

i have a WD 640GB caviar HDD.the drive works fine and tune-up's and other tests reveal all volumes to be clean.but sometimes it gives a kind of underflow sound(much like when the pc shuts down) and the system hangs and one of my system 32 files get corrupted.

i didnt find the drive's name in the WD HDD diagnostics software page but dled the soft for similar drive and it gave me an error.should i get it replaced?

will they transfer all my data or will i have to back up it myself? plz help

RMA it as soon as possible. Just register for a RMA request n they will pick the drive from your place. Donno about the data backup, just call their customer care n verify.
