Queries about RefreshRate of LCD

What is the difference in RefreshRate of 59hz and 60hz on the display as i dont see any difference between the two?? Which is better??
I have winvista and viewsonic vg2030wm LCD..

offcourse u can't differentiate between refresh rates of 59Hz and 60Hz as the difference is only one hertz.

refresh rate means how many times ur screen gets refreshed in 1 second. 60 Hz refresh rate mean it gets refreshed 60 times in 1 second and 59 Hz refresh rate means it gets refreshed 59 times in a second.Human eyes can't distinguish such a small difference.u will see noticeable difference when u go up to 70Hz or 75Hz or higher depending upon the resolution.

the higher the refresh rate the better!

yes set it to 60Hz and ur resolution must be 1680x1050 ..
