Computer Gone Beserk

Guys I'm in trouble, luks like my comp is playing around wid me.

It happened twice, my comp, while I was just browsing the web shut down, i mean screen blank and started again, i mean if u press the reset button and the comp restarts instantaneously, that's what happened.

It's posing to be a big problem. I was doing a really important presentation but some how managed to recover it.

Plz help out, what could be the problem.

P4 3GHz HT
1.5GB DDR 333MHz
Intel Original 915 motherboard
XFX 6200TC 64MB DDR

but.....
Do u use UPS?
If not a voltage fluctuation may cause it.

May be loose connection.......

Hmm, lemme see.
My gfx has passive cooling u mean the processor cooler right^^

I'll clean the connections, currently running fine, cheers!

clean the whole system, check for loose connections, and get your PSU checked. most of the time PSU gets weaken,
PSU problems arises more than any of the hardware in long run.

...or you might have had a BSOD and your comp was configured to restart immediately.

And run a MemTest too......it can be the RAM too.

This Happened to my frnds AMD system - never knew the cause.
I'd suggest to clean ur mobo and cpu heat sink completely!
Re-install each h/w.
