Default No output to Monitor...Help!

I have an assembled rig>

E6850 Core 2 Duo 3 GHz
XFX 680i LT SLI Board
Sparkle GeForce 8800GT 512 MB graphics
2 Gigs Transcend 800mhz DDR3
320 GB WD SATA HDD
500w Zebronics Platinum power

It was working fine, then stayed idle for about a month when I was out of station.

Now when I came back and turned it on, the HDD light stays on solid and does not blink. Also, the monitor led turns blue for a second when I power the machine on, then goes back to orange (standby), indicating no output from the card.

What could be wrong?

Check if your monitor cable is connected to the card properly..
And remove your card and replace it.. Does your computer boot? Do you hear the startup sounds of your OS?

well if it was idle for a month..then dust/moisture has caught up with the various components of your system. You can let it be switched on for several mins..and then see if it solved the problem on subsequent reboot or you can take it apart clean the connector and put everything back it place after the cleaning..
