u are obviously confused about chipset maker and motherboard maker.
there are mainly 5 chipset makers i m aware of (correct me if i m wrong here people )-
1)Intel
2)AMD
3)nVidia
4)VIA
5)SIS
A chipset is collection of IC's (in layman terms )..which consists of two major parts
a)Northbridge -which controls CPU(through FSB),AGP,RAM
b)southbridge-which controls BIOS,USB,HDD and other peripherals ..
now these chipsets(or ICs) are manufatured from the above 5 companies....on the other hand chipset (or an IC) can't do anyting on its own it needs the complimentary circuitry to function through various interfaces ...this is provided by motherboard.
so any company can buy those chips (or IC's) from above five companies makes the rest of circuitry to compile a motherboard(even u can buy one of those chipset and a make a motherboard).Like any other circuits it requires capacitances, resistances and many other such electronic components. So any motherboard using a high quality components like Japanese or solid state capacitors or many such quality electronic components will give better performance and stability than the motherboard using average quality components. that's where all the difference comes....so even though u can find many companies making motherboard on same chipsets...but some will perform better than the others....
out of the above 5 mentioned companies Intel also makes their own motherboard, they are stable, but built with average quality components, doesn't support many features like overclocking or crash free BIOS to state a few ...and some fancy number of ports etc...ASUS motherboard is made by high quality components so its better..
but intel also sell their chipsets to 3rd party companies like ASUS,gigabyte,MSI etc.. and these company can innovate on design to bring out best of the chipset features and using quality components can give u a better performing motherboard.
ASUS has been leader in technological innovation of motherboard technology, their motherboards are rock solid, performance oriented and can do much more than the same chipset Intel motherboard can do...they use high quality components, and many other innovations to bring the best out of chipset...
Now coming to ur question the motherboard u are talking about from ASUS P5Q deluxe will perform much better when u compare it with intel DP45SG ... with same RAM,and CPU
i hope above explanation is sufficient to cast away Ur doubts ...if not please feel free to ask...

Question 1.) Is the ASUS P5Q Deluxe Motherboard having Intel P45
Chipset will give a descent Performance in CAD and DCC based High-end
jobs? Here,The Motherboard Manufacturer and The Chipset Manufacturers
are Two Different Companies which are - ASUS and INTEL respectively.
|
i hope i have answered the question in great detail above...

Question 2.) If the Motherboard and Chipset, are both Manufactured by
the same Company Then Only I will get a descent Performance in CAD and
DCC based High-end Software programs. As an example - Intel
Mothererboard DP45SG,having Intel Chipset P45.
|
again the answer is NO ... due to above mentioned reasons, depends on the quality of components and other innovations by motherboard maker.

So, is there any Compatibility Issues regarding the Motherboard
and Chipset Manufactures - for being Different(as stated in question
no.1 above) or Same(as stated in question no.2 above)while working for
CAD and DCC related jobs.
|
compatibility issue hardly arise with ASUS (its the best in my opinion)...so don't have to worry about it.

My work includes CAD(Computer Aided Design), DCC(Digital Content
Creation) - like 3d Animation,Lots of Rendering, Editing Video,Sound,
Photo, etc.
|
CAD and DCC depends more on the processor,RAM and graphics accelerator solution...if u buy the ASUS board, make sure u go for Core2Duo or Core2Quad and lots of RAM ...for such application the more the RAM the better,a faster hard disk ...and a decent enough graphics card or workstation graphics solution if u are a high end user and a sound card if u need quality sound solution......buying a good motherboard will obviously give an edge to make the best out of ur CPU and RAM ...but otherwise not so much ...cos those application are not dependent on motherboard as such...
my suggestion go for ASUS P5Q deluxe its the best u can get for a P45 chipset!!
