DELL XPS or Inspiron or Studio
Which Desktop to buy.
Budget = 70-75k
for home use, some gaming too .
Inspiron or Studio or XPS
is ATi HD 3650 256MB (DVI + HDMI + DP PCIe Gen 2) enuf for HD movies.
should i opt for 20" or 22" widescreen?
adding 9800gt makes xps 11k costlier
To customize DeLL XPS 420, click here.
any news about DELL adding any other gfx. card to XPS, like ATi's new 4xxx series?
coz just a week ago, ati 2600xt was on option list.
& when you're at it, can you suggest a Printer+Fax machine for home use?
see the attachment or click [link]
Rs. 71k for that config.

Re: DELL XPS or Inspiron or Studio
^^ Hell no.
for 70k you get an ultrapowerful gaming pc if you assemble it yourself.
Here's the config:
Intel Quad Core Q9300
MSI P45 Neo-F ( http://asia.msi.com.tw/index.php?fun...=1&cat2_no=170)
Kingston 2x2Gb DDR2 RAM
Western Digital 640Gb HDD
Sony/Samsung dvd burner
Logitech wireless laser desktop
Sapphire HD4870 Graphics card
Dell 248WFP 24" FullHD monitor
Coolermaster Elite 330 cabinet
Coolermaster ExtremePower 600Watt SMPS
APC 650VA UPS
extra:
Philips MMS460 5.1 speakers or Philips MMS430 2.1 speakers or Logitech X-540
Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer soundcard with dolby/DTS decoding.
if you not much into gaming get HD4850 instead of HD4870 and you will save 7k-8k

Re: DELL XPS or Inspiron or Studio
9800GT will handle games best at 1600x1200 reso and will be able to play crysis at FullHD.
Crysis will run at 22-25fps at FullHD on this card.
Should be okay for you.
Get either 22" or 24". I would pick 24". FullHD is so yummy

Re: DELL XPS or Inspiron or Studio
ask the Dell Customer Care itself what it is.
Even if he company is getting you it is queit expensive. I got a question, if your company will pay it for you, then it would have a purpose and it would not be gaming.
And I really wanna know which company you work for.
