certainly a no for a gaming laptop.
If you would like a gaming config assemble a system instead.
Because if will get a gaming laptop it will be 3-4KG in weight and heating issues. In that case what is really need of laptop which cannot be carried to diferent places.

err 3-4 kg is nothing!! if u can manage to get a gaming laptop whos weight is only that much..
anmol afaik 40k is a lil to less for a gaming laptop
what u could try for is sometihng with like an 8600gt gfx(those cant really be called a gaming laptop). should be able to play games at med-high settings.. there a lot of them available
for acer,dell.hp
for ur budget im guessing acer would be the best solution

Dell XPS 1530 is selling for 52k if I'm not mistaken. It's a good gaming lappy. BUT gaming and laptop is a no-go. Better get a new PC dude .

40k is a very good budget.

You can get a E8200 + BioStar TP35D + 4GB DDR2800MHz RAM + NVIDIA 9800GTX+ in that budget which will give you kick-a$$ gaming performance .
