strange virus problem plz give it a look(very urgent)

Hi everybody once again i need ur help

yesterday i connect my flash drive to my system and it detected a virus

but i was not able to clean it and i thought it enters in my system too

from that point i m facing some problems.

I scanned my system and my antivirus app got some infections

I deleted those files and when i m starting my system a message shows at startup that svchost.exe not found and taking long time to boot

and now its not detecting my external hdd's

guys tell me what to do.

I presume your AV software detected the viruses that had previously infected svchost.exe and then it deleted the infected svchost altogether. I know it sounds ridiculous but it even happened to me with Avast before.

U need to repair your OS through Windows XP installaion CD if it was the case.
