I want to upgrade my RAM and hard disk, within a budget of 4000.
Please suggest some gud options

Certainly, upgrade is possible

1 GB DDR-II 667 MHz Laptop RAM is Rs. 1100/-
160 GB SATA 5400 RPM is between Rs. 2600 to Rs. 3000/-

so under your budget of Rs. 4k you can get another 1 GB RAM along with 160 GB HDD... both of them are plug n play so you just need to remove the hdd / ram bay cover under your notebook to attach them (refer to your manual for details)

And see if you can squeeze in more Rs. 300. You can then buy a case for your old HDD.
You can use both your rams together.
