2 rams

hey i have a new motherboard(its new) with the same old intel 845 chipset.
i bought i 1 month ago as my older board got doomed.
i opened it yesterday and saw that near the slot of ram there is written "ddr1/ddr2"
so is it possible that same mother board has diffrent rams??

yes it could support all ddr ram in the slots or all ddr2 ram in the slot but not one ddr and another ddr2
