New Monitor

hi all,
I have an old monitor that I have been using for years, is now giving signs of kicking the bucket. It seems to me that I will have to replace it soon. I would like to know what are options I have. I want to know what a good CRT Monitor cost these days? I am particularly interested in LCD Monitors, size doesn't matter, price does.

well if price does matter then give us ur budget.....so that we can recommend accordingly.

My budget for a CRT monitor would be around Rs. 4000 or less and do you think an LCD monitor can come within Rs. 8000?

for this budget u can get a 17" in both the categories.

Yup, get a AOC 17" monitor. Spend more and get a Viewsonic VA1912w 19" LCD for 9k.

to hell with viewsonic's and aoc's. They are absolute crap.

Get Dell 198WFP for 9.5k or 178WFP for 8.5k. else go for Samsung. Don't even think of viewsonic or aoc.
