suggest me the correct ram for laptop

The follwing are my pc specs and i want to upgrade my memory to 3 GB (as i have heard that having 4 GB in 32 bit XP version has no use.... the max which i can use is 3.2 GB). But it appears that my present ram module is 133 MHz and i want to know if it is better for me to go for removal of this existing module and have 1GB +2 GB module with freq lesser than 533 MHz ( which apparently should be 266 MHz??? any higher till 533 available??). I want suggestions from u all, is my understanding correct? Also if any better solution exists as far as my upgradation is concerned. Thanks.

I think it should be 533. 266x2 is 533MHz RAM.

how much difference in speed will it make if i have 3 GB ram with 133 MHz and same with 533 Mhz ? will it be significant or marginal
