Default Which modem?

Guys I have got a 512Kbps BSNL broadband connection and the modem they have given is a piece of crap. I want to get a new modem but dont know which modem to go for..

I googled and found out that Linksys and D-Link are the best ones.
Please suggest me the company as well as the product no as I want to connect 2 PC's using the modem.

D-Link GLB-802C for 1515 bucks
u can use one pc via usb and the other via lan
but i'd rather advice getting a netgear 4port switch to do that via Lan.
