Laptop very slow & Freezes

I bought a new laptop B1900 series.
12.1 Inches
Intel Duao core
1gb ram(512 hp, 512 trescend)
its very slow & freezes frequently.
what may be the reason?
requesting for the solution.

vista uses lot of resources in background, you can disable some functions which are not required like if printer not installed then print spooler etc.

you can do it by typing "services.msc" in run command, but disable only that services which u sure not required or it can also dump your OS.

hope u dont have ny virus in ur pc
try scanning ur pc & if sill the problem go for os re install & if still problem persists them kick the @$$ of person frm whom u purchased ( i mean seller & dont say that its gifted )

if u re install windows then i wud suggest u to delete all partitions then recreate all partitions.

why delete partitions?


btw, did the laptop started giving prblms after instaling 1gb (512) RAM?

what anti virus you use?

When i Bought the laptop i bought it with ram . I assume that it might the problem with the ram.
