Default dvd writer problem sony Sony AW-G170A


my dvd writer does not shows the dvd movie files in the drive but its plays the dvd on the cyberlinkpowerdvd
wats the problem pls tell me
i also cant copy paste the dvd files also due to this prob

hey me too have the same model no...

just try playin any other DVD movie..if the same problem is there is not...


bcoz....sometimes the content is not visible due to problem in file system
but the file is still accessible...happend with my friend also,he played the movie
thru VLC media player...

the drive not showing ne files then how can i play it in the vlc player
on autoplay its says the dvd is blank
then how can i play it
it only plays on the powerdvd

just popin the DVD...open VLC then select the drive name: like F: etc
it will start playin the data...

in vlc also the drive not showing ne files in the drive
its says pls insert a cd or dvd

but prob is not playing the dvd
dvd is playing on the power dvd but
if i have to copy the files it does not showing
that is the main prob

now the only solution is to use Bad Copy Software...it shud help

remove the dvd writer from the device manager and then reboot
realdan is offline
