IF youre getting the 8600GT, just make sure you stay away from XFX.
+1 for the motherboard.

i can spend on the mother board abt 7k if the mother board is good...

Can anyone tell me which mother board have a good graphic on board that can play almost all games on now (Not abt performance but abt it must just work !)
Abit is also good but never tried that...
What u guys think of Asus, Gigabyte ? they are the trusted brand that is why i would like to know abt them... Gigabyte is fully loaded with features and upgradability.. also asus is also good...
I would like to have the facility of Lan Teaming too... Most of all the machine Must be silent..
I will add the GFX card after 1 month because of tight budget

Before this i thought of GA 78MA that Amd board which is well known for HTPC. Also i thought o buy AMD 4700-9000 processer for power saver... But i dropped my plan after looking the E7200 and from than i am looking for a Good mobo on intel platform. I never tried one before... So was my decision good on AMD ? or i should go with Intel ?

I don't want a Performance Machine But atleast it must not hang on any game or App..

Here is my total Config (for htpc + gaming Rig moderate)

Processor - C2D E7200
Motherboard - Not decided (in mind NVIDIA GEFORCE 7150/NFORCE 630i Chipset, ASUS P5Q Deluxe (Intel P45), GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2H, Asus P5Q PRO, ASUS P5k PL or Intel DG31PR)

Note : Please state ur decision this is the motherboard i just got to know abt no tech info or i am not eager to purchase them untill they proof or suggested to be good by u guys..

Ram - x1 Kingston HyperX 2GB PC2-8500 Module(s)
Speaker - creative inspire t6060
Hard disk - WD CAVIAR SE163200AAKS-00B3A0 320gb
PSU - DEPENDS ON MOBO (please suggest one silent)
UPS - 650va
LCD - 17" - 19" not decided thinking of buying view sonic brand
Cabinet - as per mobo size.. (i really want to make it small but like a vcr but also in budget)
TV TUNER - Hauppauge PVR 150 MCE, PixelView Play TV Pro 3, Hauppauge WinTv PVR-150
DVD-RW - Asus DRW-2014L1T
Cpu Cooler - Do suggest one

Please Comment on them... (if there is multiple option that means i am confused)

not DG31, you can get really good mobo in 7K, ASUS has good option. desibond and nvidia know which model it is and can tell you. I think its ASUS P5N-E SLI
Besides ASUS, MSI hs got good P45 based mobo P45 Neo - F under 7K(cheapest P45 chipset based mobo)
ASUS P5Q PRO costs more than 8K and Deluxe costs almost 12K, I do not think you would wanna go for so much cost. But after the MSI model I suggested are Asus P5Q and Asus P5Q PRO which are the cheapest P45 chipset based mobo. and both are real good.

And again to mention it, I do not know anyone reportedly who hs bought these here on digit.

In short I will suggest you Abit IP35 E, or any other mobo which hs DVI and HDMI ports, because you say mainly for HTPC.
