Default USB Drive Partitioning....

Can any body, give solution to this problem... yes I want to make partition in my USB drive..

by USB drive, what are u referring to?? a pen drive or an external hard disk drive???

if u have a external HDD then use partition magic

Not Sure about STICK Drives but you can try Windows In-built Partitioning tool.

Goto Control Panel->Administrative Tool->Computer Management->Disc Management

Here Select your Pen Drive or External Hard Disk or whatever, then Right Click that partition and select Delete partition, after that create the two new ones. If you are using Vista, then you can also split the Drive into two easily.

My pen drive has partitioning software bundled with it so never tried, guess you might look for Partitioning Magic also

if urs is an transcend pen drive (i suppose u are talking abt pen drives) try mFormat utility from transcend website..

Windows XP Disk Management console -----???
Its shows Removable Disk ... ie you can NOT create more than ONE...
partition magic 8.0 ko to mera pen drive dikhta hi nahi......

Q. till unanswered.
