Arrow Query: Wireless desktop combos?

Hi Doston,

I am looking for an affordable wireless desktop combo from Logitech/Microsoft. Can anyone suggest if they perform as good as their desktop counterparts for gaming purposes? And also, how long do the batteries last?

What Is Your Buget ????

And I Say - Dont Go For A Wireless Combos. And That Too U R goin to use it for gamin purpose. The mouse battries get down after 2 to 3 days. and basically wireless keyboards come USB n not PS/2 so while booting any windows disc. the keyboard dosenot work. u need to buy then USB to PS/2 Cable.

That Can Solve U R Problem Of Keyboard. There Is No Solution For Mouse Rather Than Getting An Rechargable Battries and a charger.

well wireless desktop combo..the batteries for the mouse will run out pretty fast..at least the one that i used...the microsoft wireless optical desktop 700 is that way...though the keyboard last much more longer..

it has one usb connector to the wireless point..that means it serviced both the keyboard and mouse..and i didnt have any problem with non-detection of the keyboard during installation of windows xp sp2 using the installation disc...

if you have to go for a wireless mouse..you could look at the microsoft wireless notebook mouse..which is much more easy on the battery..have used it and it last quite long...

Thanks for your response guys...my budget was around 1.5k, so I guess i could have afforded a Logitech or some lousy iBall product...MS one used by realdan fares around 1.7k. Will see what we have in store for the wireless mice...I have a 19" LCD and I was thinking of gaming from a distance, like my cozy bed!
