Exclamation PC's struggling.

Hi,

Since a month or so when I playback a divx/xvid or any video and mp3 my PC sort of struggles,

Meaning like in Taskmanager I've made the "View>Update Speed>High", so things get updated every 1 second,

Suddenly my PC really struggles and things in taskmanager get updated every 5 seconds,

And even the audio and video starts getting slowed down, and every 1 second in the video plays for around 4-5 seconds repeatedly and then the same happens to the next second in the video (Same problem with audio),

But the PC itself doesn't freeze up,

Config:- P3 700MHz, Intel 810 Chipset, 20GB HDD, 15" CRT, PS/2 KB, Mouse.

since ur machine is on bit weaker side.....delete every unnecessary software u may have installed.....keep the installed software list to minimum possible......for help check task manager and see which program is using maximum ram or cpu......uninstall them.....when playing video do not open any other application make sure to run only one application at time .....update ur audio video driver ...... and bring back update speed of task manager to normal ....it does nothing ......
