Doesn't look like your board has a SATA port so sorry, no SATA DVD writer for you. Although why do you want a SATA DVD writer? Not like the normal ones are slow or anything.

And what's with the angry smiley?

SATA IS the normal one today. Never get IDE ones if you can help it. The lone IDE slot in today's mobos supporting two IDE drives is best used for emergencies and if you need to connect an IDE Drive from your older rig to it.

SATA over IDE is as recommended as getting Core2Duo E7200 instead of Core2Duo E4600. Its simply a better more future proof option.

First check out MSI web page link provide on my previous reply.

Download all relevant drivers according to ur operating software.

U said Floppy but as far as I know Floppy is used for RAID drivers.

If UR board supports RAID for SATA Disable it from the BIOS.

Check BIOS for SATA RAID setting. Raid works with at least Two Harddisks.
