Default Connecting Sata DVD rom to PCI

My MB is the ASUS M2N MXSE. It has only two Sata ports. When i brought my computer, I installed a Samsung Sata HDD 160 GB and a Samsung Sata based DVD Writer. Now, i want to install a SATA 250 GB HDD but there are no SATA ports left. In hindsight, i should have installed an IDE based DVD writer. Now, what options do i have? Should i discard the Sata based DVD writer, and replace it with an IDE based one, or should i buy a SATA card. I am a newbie, and i dunno how the latter works. Will it be compatible with my MB. Which is the cheaper alternative? Also, tell me which SATA card should I buy. Price is a issue, cant afford very costly alternatives which exceeds the price of DVD writer itself. Is it easily available in Delhi

Please help...very urgent
