C2D + Mobo = 10k

hi guys... am going to sell my existing C2D E6300 1.8Ghz and Intel DG965SS (1 year Old) for around 7.5k and i want to buy a new C2D+Mobo for 10k... plz specify which one shud i go for... and does this will have any performance improvement over my current config????

E7200 - 5.5k
abit IP35-E - 5.3k.
8600GT 256MB GDDR3 - 3k (if u dont hav a gfx card already,then u'll hafta spend 13k instead of 10)

firstly think why you want to upgrade?

if its for gaming then just put in a graphics card. u will get a good performance upgrade.

i hav 8600gt 256mb gddr3... its tat my current proc is only 1.8ghz and i thot upgrading will hav much performance boost... and is 7.5k good deal for my current config...

^^^ u can always get a abit IP35-E and use wit ur current procy.then u can easily oc it to 3.2GHz.

^^^ yup buddy C2Ds oc like hell.i've oc'd my E8400 from 3Ghz to 4.05Ghz (see my siggy.).

with better 3rd party cooling u can oc even higher.

if u oc ur C2D then no AMD setup in 10k will beat urs.

u wont believe but my E8400 @ 4.05GHz beats the hell out of most Phenom Tricores and quads.

but then i wud hav to change my mobo and ram as am using dynet 2x1gb 667Mhz.... wat shud i do??? change them and oc C2D or change my setup to amd???

ram is ok u dont need to change it.just run in 1:1 for dram:fsb ratio.

but i hav another problem... here in kerala most vendors havnt even heard of abit... i asked many shops and many dealers but of no avail... can u plz giv me contact address of an abit dealer here in kerala....

if u cant help me with tat, then cud u plz specifyy another mobo for 6k which supports good oc and also an e-sata port???
