Question Motherboard & SMPS for C2D & 8600GT card


hi everyone,

i am planning to buy intel C2D E8200 and a mercury or XFX 8600GT 256MB GDDR3 card.
i want to know the best suitable motherboard and SMPS.
can anyone help me out.

gr8 mobo. surveyed for long. seems to be the best.

if budget aint a problem, try out the Abit ip-35 pro series.

if budget isnt a problem, then card from a better brand shud be of first priority than mobo.
Both Mercury and XFX sucks.
Mercury has only one year warranty and XFX are electric stoves. I think Palit too is cheaper these days at 3.7k and is far better than both the above ones.

abit p35-e is enuf for moderate oc unless u decide to take proccy to 4Ghz+.

If u are on a tight budget, Biostar or EVGA 630i mobos are there for 3~3.5k

Abit p35 and Powesafe 500 or vip 500W am suggesting u this coz instead of 8600gt u buy a 9600gso along wit the above...
