try it with a different drive on a pc...might be hardware prob
but if it doesn recognise it too then what i can say is that...i had that kinda prob too with a movie cd once (i still have that disk)...it used to run on cd and dvd players cool but no dvd or cd drive on any pc could recognise it (and still cant)...after much studies abt that matter on net i came to a conclusion that the software part of dvd-players are somehow stronger but also more stupid than pc ones which seem to help them run most of the disks (but sometimes vice versa too)...and they even sometimes run corrupted disks so smoothly that ur eyes will pop out while the pc dvd drive will scratch its head (or headers lolz) for that same disk

yeah the cd that made the same prob for me didn't have a scratch too really...it seemed like some burning malfunction to me which caused the disc to be unreadable for certain drives in pcs...but the dvd-players couldn't cause that issue somehow
