Arrow Which is the best Mobo for C2D below 5.5k (max* 6k) ?

(1)ABit IP35-E (Rs 4525) + 3000
(2)EVGA 112-CK-NF77-A1 (Rs 4525) (IGP)
(3)MSI P35 NEO-COMBO-F (Rs 5700) + 3000

+3000 stands for my allotment for Graphics Card

[Q1]Which is better Mobo for E2180 (Rs 3150) ?

[Q2]I liked MSI one because it suports 2 DIMM for DDR3 out of 4. Isnt it good for future proofing ? When will DDR3 become common ?

[Q3]E2180 is a dual core. Is'nt it ? What is the minimum costing Core2Duo (below E4600)?

[Q4] Which is the best Graphics Card Available for <= Rs 3000 ?

I dropped AMD Black Edition+ GigabyteGA-MA78GM-S2H mobo because
  • Heat Sink + Fan Cost
  • Still i need to go for Graphics Card in future
  • AMD processors seems loosing out on future proofing. Atleast I can upgrade my Intel C2D Processor to Quad or other procc. after 2-3 years.
  • Mobo is quite small comapred to the above mentioned intel mobos.
[Q5] Is this justified or I can still go for the AMD ?

1)ABit IP35-E is a very nice mobo that i know of...
2)DDR3 RAM modules will still take some time to be popular and come within most of the ppl's reach as the highest end DDR2 memory even isn't that much in common still...
3)E4300 and E4500 were popular low budget first generation core2duo procies and i think they're still retrievable...
4)Mercury 8600GT...but support isn't too good in most of the places
5)u can get the most out of your intel dual core procies only if u can overclock them to a decent level...thus...if u want to just boot up ur pc and work but not play with ur proccy or mobo...then u can still think of AMD

get the abit ip35-E with ur eyes closed.a gr8 mobo in that budget.
if u dont wanna upgrade in 2-3yrs then get a E7200 for 5.5k and oc it.and for 3k get a 8600GT or a 9600GSO 384MB for 6k.

Ok, Hellgate n RexRazr I am putting abit ip35-E on top of my preference list.

also i hear from Digit magazine's Fast Track(this month,Smart Computing, Pg5,"Intel orAMD") that the
Quote:
AMD and Intel are at the end of their current product cycle
Does that mean the socket will undergo changes and the present LGA775 or AM2+ will change?

Also i would like to mention that I watch movies, play minimal games (basically try them). The only game i intend to play are the Call Of Duty Series. So would an IGP be enough ?

Will the DDR3 be common by 2 years ?

processor sockets are always changing...and it doesn't cause an issue coz when u usually upgrade ur cpu...u usually change ur mobo too unless it's compatible with ur present one's socket which should be a decent performer also
when u compare call of duty 1 to call of duty 4...u'll see a huge difference in graphics and the required resources too...so if u wanna play call of duty one using IGP then it wont be a prob for mosta the mobos with an average onboard chip today...but COD4 requires some more than that of course...and u're gonna need a decent mobo with a decent onboard chip too for that (like the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H)...and with an 8600GT...it'll almost run as smooth as butter
DDR3 should be in common the year after the next...not before that...but don't buy DDR2 667MHz now...go for DDR2 800 at least
