Default Need Help Assembling a PC..

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to assemble a PC for Beginner - Intermediate level graphic designing..
Apps used regularly would be ones like 3ds max, maya, flash, photoshop etc..
My budget is around 30000/-

So far, this is the best config i got.. (without Graphics card)

-C2D E4600 2.4GHz
-2 GB RAM
-MSI 945GCM7 mobo
-350 GB HDD
-17" TFT Monitor
-DVD Writer

Cost is approx Rs. 27000/-

I dont know how good the above config is for graphic designing and multimedia purposes.. but it's for a beginner, so i dont really need anything too sophisticated.. yet..(!)
Please let me know if this config is good enough, or if i should go for something else..

Thanks in advance..

1) Core2Duo E6750 : Rs.8k or E7200 for 6k
2) Abit IP35-E : Rs.5.3k or ASUS P5K PL VM for 4k or Intel DG31PR for 3.3k or Intel DG33FB for 5k
3) Kingston 2x1Gb DDR2 800 RAM: Rs.2k
4) Seagate sata2 7200.11 500Gb HDD: Rs.4k
5) Sony/Samsung DVD writer: Rs.1.1k
6) Zebronics peace cabinet : Rs.2.5k
7) Logitech K/B & mouse: Rs.650
8) Dell 198WFP 19" display: 9.7k or Samsung 17" LCD for 8.5k
9) APC 650VA UPS: Rs.3.3k
10) EVGA or MSI 8600GT for 4.5k

apps like maya and 3dsmax definitely need a graphics card. If you can put more money, go for MSI or EVGA 9600GT (9k)

consider the "or's"

strictly inside 30K:

1) AMD Athlon X2 4800+ : Rs.3.5k
2) Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H : Rs.5.5k
3) Kingston 2x1Gb DDR2 800 RAM: Rs.2k
4) Seagate sata2 7200.11 500Gb HDD: Rs.4k
5) Sony/Samsung DVD writer: Rs.1.1k
6) Zebronics peace cabinet : Rs.2.5k
7) Logitech K/B & mouse: Rs.650
8) Dell 198WFP 19" display: 9.7kSamsung 17" LCD for 8.5k
9) APC 650VA UPS: Rs.3.3k

Do not buy new graphics card now. Once ATI HD4850 and HD4870 are released, get one of these cards and use it in hybrid crossfire mode.
