Default MP4 Player in trouble

I just bought a MP4 player(4 GB)worth Rs2300/- which looks somewhat like an Apple nano. I am not able to play all the files(.amv and .mp3)after installing them together. The player says FORMAT ERROR. Sometimes one file plays but the same file does not play when installed later after formatting. One day While i was formatting the player I had to unplug the device & since then I am unable 2 start the player . The LCD glows but nothing comes. How can I repair it & it has got no warranty. please HELP

Crap Chinese stuff. Return it to the person you purchased it from.
