computer starts automatically

hi friends!
I am facing a problem with my computer, it starts automatically (after shutting down) when the ups is on. Can anybody tell me what the problem is and what I need to do?

There is a option in BIOS under power management I believe, where you can set the option to either power on or power off PC after a power failure. Check that.

Yes u are right.
By enabling this option u dont need to press ur CPU button.

Reset this.

could be either PSU / UPS fault! Crosscheck accordingly and then see.

Does your PC start randomly (i mean anytime) or when you turn on the UPS?

My PC starts automatically only if, after shutting it down, I don't turn off my UPS. If I turn on UPS and don't turn on the PC then it doesn't start by itself.
