Question Motherboard Problem

I have a P4 with 1 GB Ram and Intel 845G Chipset Motherboard.
When I switch on the computer, it goes upto the welcome screen and automatically shutdowns. When I again switch on the computer, it starts beeping with one long beep and one short beep for sometime and again shutdowns. I don't understand what's the problem of it. Please give me a solution for it.

Ur RAM module is misplaced.
Open ur cabinet and adjust it.

Question Re: Motherboard Problem

I have cleaned the ram. The ram is working with the other system and is adjusted correctly. Still I face the same problem.

may be there is a problem with your os, repair your os & give a try.
BTW, I am sure this is symptoms of bad RAM modules.
