Hi guys,
i am having a really troublesome problem with my broadband connection for the past 20 days....... several mtnl technicians have come and gone but the problem still persists....... and i am unable to access the net........
the problem is the the PPPoE light doesnt light up. i'll clarify a few things......
1>there are no parallel connections
2>telephone wiring is new, and not bunched with the electrical wires......
its a dlink glb-502t router, connected by an ethernet cable to my comp.......
power light comes on, then adsl blinks... and stabilizes after a few seconds, but PPPoE doesnt come on. lan led comes on when i enable the LAN connection......
on the modem settings page, it says "authentication failure".......
what could the problem be?? please help me out......
