Default motherboard upto 5k

I want to buy a motherboard with a budget upto 5k.
integrated graphics wont hurt but aren't an absolute necessity.
I have 2x1gb 800mhz ddr2 ram sticks so i would prefer a board which supports dual channel.
any suggestions?

I'm assuming you are talking of an lga775 socket - standard intel. Please mention what processor you will be using.
Old but still going strong - the XFX 650i board or maybe some other company 650i Chipset.
The newer BioStar TP35D2 - A7 is a p35 board and is pretty good at just around 5K.

Biostar is gud but to OC get abit IP35. 5.5k, best bang for buck. Of course, if u use intel.

Which BIOS are you using ?
Can you shut off A/C mains of PC and then boot
normally.
On mine the moment I put the A/C mains ON,
the mouse and keyboard lights start.
Double boot is there after switching on.
If I reboot after 1st boot, it boots normally.
