now what is this problem.please help

hello friends.

i am having a problem.well this problem started two to three days ago.

and i have got this problem two times.

as i switched on my pc it opens the black option screen.it says we are sorry your windows didnot start up normally due to software or something problem ...etc etc..

then the options.

start windows in safemode
start windows normally

start from the last best configuration known.



but according to me i did not made any changes in the software drivers or any other things when i last time switched the pc off.then why does this message comes.

as i have mentioned i dont get this problem everytime.but sometimes it appears.

please help.

Windows might not have shut correctly the last time(Due to pressing the power button for 3-4 seconds or power cut)

^^well there was no powercut.and it shut down normally as i switch it off from the start menu.

check hdd for errors.cud happen to corrupt system files.
may also happen due o power jitters.

This happened to me once also. Try to log into safe mode..once. Then restart the system after the desktop appears. If the error still persists..then scan your disk for errors (let me know if you dont know how to do this). Best to do it from command prompt...!
