Post Suggestions on a VFM rig @~20k

Hello Everyone!
Wish to replace the entire cabinet within 20k.
Accordingly I have come up with a suitable config.
Kindly help me with your best advice\suggestions so that I can finalize the config.
Thank you all.
t3chg33k

Processor:
Intel C2D e7200

Motherboard:
A-bit IP35e

GPU:
Mercury GeForce 8600GT 256MB DDR3

Cabinet:
Zebronics Antibiotics\Peace\Bijli\Lava (without SMPS)
Cooler Master Elite 330 (with SMPS)
(Kindly suggest any cheap\sturdy\well designed cabinet if it cuts down the cost)

PSU(if required):
Power Safe SMPS 500W Silver

Memory:
Transcend\GSkill 2x1GB DDR2 @800Mhz

HDD:
Hitachi\Seagate\WD 160GB SATA2 7200rpm
(Already have a 160GB SATA1 drive, so is a SATA2 drive going to be really beneficial?)

Optical Drive:
Sony\LiteOn 18x Dual Layer DVD Writer
(Again 12x Single Layer Writer already present, so may be skip this one?)

Kindly suggest the latest street prices (Mumbai) and the choice of brands for the various components.

You rock. Nearly perfect configuration. Nice Homework.

here are the costs in the same order:

cpu is 5700 - Best CPU; I advice a wait to let it become cheaper, but it not going to go below 5k

board is 5500 - get Biostar P35 instead for 4.5k

gpu 4500 - again excellent choice

bijli has 400W smps. its 1500. Looks AWSSOME. Worth extending budget for it.

psu is 1000 - Me can't advice, not sure if for 8600GT default 400W is enough.

ram is 1800 - transcend value ram that is.

keep current HDD if u need 2 stay in budget - last priority - and get 320GB or 500GB later.

keep current DVD drive if u need 2 stay in budget - second last priority - 1.2k 22x DVDF-RAM

As you are in mumbai, try to see if Rahul from TheITWares.com can get you stuff to fit your budget.

Thanks MetalheadGautham
Here are the prices I have got in Mumbai as of now.

Pro@6000
MoBo@5350
GPU@2800
GSkill RAM@2350 (Would a Transcend valueram @1800 really affect the performance?)
Bijli Cabinet @1000 + Rear Exhaust @250
CoolerMaster460\PowerSafe500 @1700
Samsung 203B DVD Writer @1050 ( Again Samsung?)
WD HDD 160GB @1750\250 @2350
