Default Mother board 4 pin female socket burns

hi,
My intel motherboard, there is one 4 pin female socket(power) where we connect 4 pin male plug from smps. due loose connection or i don't know how it burns(looks blakish) only one pin, out of 4. its working but suddenly it stop or restart . then i have to press once again then only it works. is this part can be repaired? or i have to purchase a new m/b,
In that case any good intex m/b, which support p4- 2.4 processor .

do you mean intex or intel,
secondly is it under warrantly, if under warranty its good otherwise then also, you would need to gget it checked into a intel service center.
I hope your local retail shop from where you bought the mobo or any other shop can help you in this.

Let the mechanic do the check up and assement if the faulty cables can be replaced.

Here in Bangalore I hope it would be easier as there is Intel Service Center.

This connector could be burnt for improper ( high or low ) voltage.
From the next time always use a proper UPS & decent psu like coolermaster to be hassle free.
