Default Has there been a price increase for hardware in the past few days?

I heard that there has been a recent price rise in imported hardware goods (99% of hardware peripherals are imported). How true is this info?

I also heard it is due to the rising value of the dollar.

Please shed some light on this guys, thanks.....

Actually prices have changed - but not significantly. $ has risen by Rs. 2-3 which has increased the prices a little. This was confirmed to me by a guy at Ingram Micro. But distributors/dealers have absorbed the cost a little and passed it on only where it mattered (expensive items).
