why the computer restarts

i am having and Amd config 512 ram and iball cabinate , my computer restarts every now and then, i dont know why? what may be the problem?
i surface scanned the harddisk it found bad cluster(single) and corrected it. but than also it restarts. and the harddisk is working fine in other systems.? what may be the cause?

Check ram modul, rub golden edges with eraser. In most cases psu is not delivering the optimum voltage it shud b atleast 400 - 450 W also check 4 graphics Other problem is may b ur OS gets corrept re-install it (repair it)

hay i did wat u said an my prob solved via ram.... i removed it cleaned it and changed the slot.... thanks man
