my suggestions -
avoid samsung DVD-RW...go for Lite-On, Sony or LG
might as well throw in a little more and go for a 320GB HDD
GPU - as u won't be indulging in hardcore gaming, i s'pose u don't plan to overclock ur gfx card. in that case, go for 8600GT from MSI..it is fanless and hence totally silent

Hi thanks for your comments.
Yep i wont be Ocing GPU, but still, a fan is better than no fan? as i heard 8600GT goes hot most of the time.. whats the price i can get 8600GT for?

Also i am unsure about , Is E7200 compatible with IP35E?
I will be overclocking my Cpu to 2.8-3ghz from stock 2.53ghz.
And i like the reviews of IP35E, any other good option for mobo with same price range and overclocking capability?

PSU? 400W? 450W? 500W? plz comment on this, i am totally unsure about which one will suit me the best.. i dont want larger psu if its not going to be used to its worth...

Also is there a considerable performance difference between a 3mb and 6mb cache? is E7200 good enough for my usage?

thank you.

the MSI 8600GT retails for about 5k i think. it comes without a fan but has copper heatpipes that keep it adequately cool at stock temp. a friend of mine, maverick340 has the same gfx card and has NEVER experienced overheating issues. he runs it at stock speeds and plays all the latest games such as Crysis, COD4, COnflict Denied etc.

Thanks Xbonez..

Well i still have doubts guys...

1) E7200 works with Abit IP35E?????
2) power suppy unit?? coolermaster Extreme 460? Corsair vx450? or will a 400W from powersafe do the job?
3) E7200 , 3mb cache good enough?
4) Can you guys suggest the price for the items i listed in my earlier post?

Don't buy 1 2GB Stick, buy 2x1gb

HDD: 250GB (seagate? WD?) price?
Get western digital WD3200AAKS, 320 GB, 16 MB buffer for Rs 3,200.

Get Radeon HD 3650 or 3850. More features then 8600GT

powersafe or corsair?
450 W Cooler master should be enough.

Hi gx_saurav

Yep, i want to overclock a little, not much. Will take my 2.53GHz Stock to maximum of 3Ghz. That too if i need to.

Is Abit IP35E good for that? any other option of same price range i can consider??
Will Abit IP35E work with E7200? 45nm
Let me know which motherboard u have on your mind?

Radeon HD 3650 or 3850.
What are their Cost?

Thank you

Well, one more thing i want to ask is E7200 available in Nehru Place Delhi????

plz reply on this guys..

Mobo : Abit IP35P , they did not had IP35E. 5200/-
Ram: 1GB 800 MHz 1050/-
HDD: WD 250GB. 2350/-
GPU: xfx 8600GT ddr3 256mb. 4700/- did not had Msi, CE did not had it either..
Cabinet: CM 330 Elite. 1550/-
PSU: CM 390 Extreme(budget constraint, and SMC ensured me that it will work good for me. 1600/-
DVDWR: Sony 1150/-
Speakers: creative inspire 2.1 . 1500/-

Total cost i paid after VAT : 25600/-
