Angry Abit IP35-E

Hello all,
I have following config I have assembled :
E2180
1x2GB 800 RAM Transcend
160GB IDE HDD
DVD ROM IDE
8500GT
Abit IP35-E mobo
Machine boots....BIOS
Date entered.
On boot starts to beep repeatedly.
I had to attach HDD as slave and DVD rom as master
due to IDE cable problem.
Will I require a SATA DVD to install OS?
or atleast to boot windows.
Boot options does not have any IDE only sata, USB, HDD etc
Help!!
Also my processor temp is 82 C that is high me guess.
my heat sink one of the clips wouldn't go in fully.
Almost sprained my thumb.
reply soon.

+1

if your thumb is sprained, get someone else to do the job for you.
your processor is a precius commodity.

If you don't know how to install processor, DON'T INSTALL IT YOURSELF. Take it to the dealer and get it installed by them. You will either damage the processor or damage the heatsink.
