my screen is floating

Hello anybody can help me out i have AMD sempron 2500+(1.41 Ghz) 256Ram and 40 gb HDD windows xp professional installed my problem is that my system screen is floating when i drag down i have tryed incrase the ram for 512 but still am facing the same problem,i have changed the monitor also but still same problem plz help me out thanku.

i think u havent installed the VGA drivers ..commonly known as display drivers, grafix drivers or drivers for the display adapter .......... pop in the Motherboard drivers CD in the optical drive and then install the drivers ..... see if u r nt getting the STANDBY option in system "turn off" menu too....

^^ Yupp .. Dont keep your cell phone near the monitor (if its a CRT). Also check if power fluctuation is there .. I remember when I had a CRT monitor the display used to fizzle if it was running on inverter ..

bhai log harry potter jab bachaane ke liye khud aa gaye hoon to baki kya jaroorat. Harry says it all, besides keeping your electomagnetic instruments away.

you should have told initally what type of monitor do you got.
Besides updating the drivers if this happens randomly then switch off and on the display. Also in CRT there is an option to Buzz the monitor, someone correct me with the exact term, I do not have a CRT to check and tell it right away.

the liquid crystals in his lcd have melted due to the hot sun and are sliding down the monitor due to gravity, and the image is floating on top of it...

even I have seen old CRT's which beep fulltime to make your ear broken
LCD Zindabad!Hope LCDs should come under Rs6000 this year end
this bulky CRT's are taking lot of real estate

^^the humble crt may occupy a lot of space and produce enough heat, to be used as a heater but it has nonetheless has worked like a charm for the last few decades.... so give it some respect
