5.1 spk system 4 my philips divx dvd player.

i recently bought a philips dvd divx player.....
with usb post and dts, dolby...jpg....stuff...

now i need 2 buy a good spk system 5.1 for the player so that i can watch movies...
and listed 2 rock songs...with good quality.....
my budget is 5.5-6k.....

i saw the philips spk..model no. something 120. priced at. 5900
it says 5000wtts....
just needed 2 know....is it good enough or can i get something better.. then that...
thou i felt a bit less bass in these spks.....

help needed urgent pals......

Anyone of Altec Lansing 5.1 from FX series or Logitech X540 would be good!

so wot u r suggesting is that i shouldnt go in for philips speakers.....

and by the way i checked the fx series of altec...and they are way 2 over my budged....

and also wanted 2 know,,wots the price for x540...

cause i m getting x530 at 5500 here in surat...

re checked the x540......
its also costing me 5500... in surat...

saw the altec lancing v series speakers.... but didnt liked the punch it had....

so hope x540 has more punch then altec 1ce......

by the way my philips dvd player,,

has co-axial and analog input....as..well....

it has speprate front left, front right, rear left, rear right, center, and sub-woofer points...for input....

so needed 2 know whether x540 will input in it...
