No display on the monitor? What's the problem please help!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend's system config:

Q6600
Biostar 35 M/B
CM 500
Trans 2x1 gb
WD 320 gb
Viewsonic VX2255wmh
Xfx 8600GT


After Switch on the system, the CPU fan and Harddisk are start to work but we wouldn't get the display on the monitor and as well as the LED's in the motherboard are not lighting?

What's the problem please help!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the colour of monitor LED??? Green yellow or orange???

Remove RAM and reinsert it again??

Check for Beeps how they are i mean singl, double, continous, intermittent and post the details.

Then it would be preety easy for all to help you.

See if the cable connecting the motherboard and the graphics card is connected properly.

whats the max resolution suported by the monitor...?
have you switched monitors recently?

if you have specified a higher resolution in yr pc.....then the computer will boot up no doubt.....
but the monitor wouldnt work right during the logon screen...

if this is happening take yr Cabinet to a frnds house who has a fairly high res monitor...and decrease yr resolution using his mon....

^^If its running at a higher resolution than what the monitor supports, then he should get that out of sync message... Thats what i get in mine..

in view sonic monitors if the res is not proper it auto adjusts itself...it sais "auto adjusting imgae" and lowers the resolution...try reseating ur gfx card,removing CMOS battery and putting it bak again,changing RAM slots...
