Default Battery Problems!!!!!

Guys.... my 8 mnths old HP Pavillion dv6314tx is showing serious battery drainage prblms... I dnt know wats the reason... Some of my frenz tell me dat since m runnin ma laptop 2 much on AC power, the battery has developd this prblm. But i went thru sum other poplular sources of media, which say that runnin the laptop on AC power would not cut down its backup time instead, it would keep it stable.... I dnt know wat 2 do, jst dnt wanna spend on a new battery now... Help me guys....

Thanks.....

if its ALWAYS on ac power.... then remove the battery and use the laptop on ac power. keeping it charged at 100% all the time will reduce its power over time.
