Default Where can I do this??

Hi there,

I'm looking for an AGP card as my mobo MSI K8MM-V only has an AGP slot.
I really dont do anything graphic intense with this system...The only game I play on this is once in a while a little CS 1.6. The reason for purchasing is that I want CS 1.6 to look a little more eye pleasing than how it is on onboard gfx.

Can you guys recommend a good Nvidia based AGP card and a reliable online retailer to buy from?
I have only purchased from theitdepot.com and they dont have any Nvidia based AGP cards now.

What you guys think about this card?..also techshop.in reliable?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

^^ Those FX5200 and 6200 suck....

If you want to get an AGP card, then try getting nVidia 6600GT if its available. If you've no choice, then get FX5200 or 6200. But never ever go for 6200LE.

^^ I was just suggesting a better card for him because getting a good AGP card will become almost impossible in future.

Anyways, try getting nVidia 6200 Ultra.

Thanks for replying guys!

It says that my Mobo only supports DD2 memory?? So does the memory type in Gfx card also has to be DDR2??

Here is a Nvidia 6200 256MB for Rs 3500?
http://shopping.rediff.com/shop/prod...477&frompg=AGP

Geforce FX 6200 256 MB AGP Card for Rs 2050/-
http://www.computerwarehousepricelis...urpage=1&ctg=6

All the AGP cards available from theitdepot ( bought from here before )
http://www.theitdepot.com/all_produc...ategory_id=174
They are all ATI, but anything worth buying??

I dont need something for long term. just something for CS 1.6

Thank you

Try Geforce 6200(though for playing CS,5200 is enough). It can play almost all games released till 2007 well at med-high quality at lowere resolution(cant play gears of war, crysis, hellgate london, assassins creed, stranglehold well). If u can get 6600 gt for < 2.5k it would be good.
But 7300gt ddr3 performs better.
