Brand for GF8600GT??
Please suggest me a good brand (apart form XFX) for GeForce 8600GT 256MB DDR3. How's MSI by the way?? What will be price for the same??

Go for ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI. Not much difference between the two.
I think ASUS released 512Mb card and price difference is around 1k but is worth the price.

Look Asus cards generally have aftermarket cooling.
Though, i would prefer Palit Super 8600GT over them. From, O/C capability to the temp range, Palit scores over them. Why? Credits to Zalman Cooling units over most of the Palit cards! MSI cards are nice too considering their low price tags. Just dont go for one with passive coolers! 
Btw, 8600 isnt worth the money, considering better cards are available these days...i.e. 3650 & 3850, 9600GT. Priced little higher than 8600 though. However, better VFM!

Yeah, even I was thinking of HD 3650. Is it better than 8600GT?? Also 9600GT is worth of it's price??

9600GT is certainly worth its price. . but if u can slightly extend ur budget and get 8800GT 512mb , its much better.
i would say the 8600GT is better than radeon 3650 . but the 3650 runs cooler .

Try to get the graphics card from outside india.It is very cheap there(radeon 3870 < 210$,8800gt < 260$).Both are better cards than 9600gt but dont support hybrid sli(hybrid power nd geforce boost).But,that isn't much of a problem.
PS:hybrid sli is gonna be a big hit in the laptop market where battery life counts.

3650 GDDR3 will be better than 8600GT nd will be more future proof too.
Or u can also get HD 3850 256 DDR2 for 8k range.
