Query about grafix card.....

Hi friends,

One of my friend is going to buy a grafix card very soon, his budget is 6000/- and he wants to play Crysis.

Please recommend some cards for the same. He has chosen
Palit GeForce8500GT Sonic 256 MB. Any other solution, as I don't think this is a future proof(at least next 1-1.5 yrs).

Any comments are welcome

Crysis with mere 8500GT ?
At least get a good 8600 GT. Asus EN8600GT is great.

yeah your best bet would be a nvidia 8600 at about ~5kish
u can play with medium and a few settings at high
btw since ur budget is 6k .. id suggest wait for a bit and get it up2 10k and get 9600gt its way better and just a lil more expensive

See, with that budget, i would say 8600GT would be the choice. But please, dont go with any of 8500 or 8600 cards! Good for absolutely nothing!!
Instead, see if u can get ATi 3650 or HD3850! Better than 8600!
Or, simply wait and save more then go for 9600GT or yet to be announced 9500GT !

Get ATI HD 3650 256 or 512 but one with GDDR3. Its much better than 8600GT nd is more future proof with DX 10.1
Its bout 6k in price.
