I was gonna suggest Logitech Z5300 to you but heard that its production has been stopped I am also looking forward to any other alternative

well, there are other options as well!
Not as good as Z5300! Though, their VFM is good.
1. Artis S7500
2. Altec Lansing FX 5051: Ok, something special to mention about this set. The system doesnt require a 6 channel soundcard to reproduce 5.1 sound. Just by connecting the speakers by USB port and selecting 6 channel mode emulates 5.1 sound. Though, let me clarify one thing, for true 6 channel surround sound, u'll require a 5.1 sound card!
3. Creative I Trigue 5600
4. Philips MMS460 : Ok, i've tested the set myself and was quite satisfied with the performance. Subwoofer felt a little underpowered, though the satellites are more than sufficient to fill in the gap. IMO, this system is perfectly suited for those, who love to hear music and play games with surround audio. Gaming with this system was indeed gr8. They boasts 100W of power. Plus, the VFM of this set is extremely well. What more can u expect with 6.5K tag?? The movies sound gr8 till 70% of volume. Beyond that, the woofer starts panicking alot! But, that is very acceptable.

Look, the last set is suggestible by me for the price range. Save some bucks and then go for a separate Woofer along with an amplifier !
