Question DDR2,DDR3 or DDR4

so many Graphics Card in the market....

so what should be the priority in ranking these cards (only geeks can answer)

1.DDR4 > DDR3 > DDR2
IF ans is yes than
XFX 8600GT 256MB DDR3 > XFX 8600GT 512MB DDR2

2.Does GT ,GTS ,GTX does matter in performance

i.e XFX 8600GTS 256MB DDR3 > XFX 8600GT 256MB DDR3

GTX > GTS > GT (is it correct)

3. Do we have 2 consider the streamline processors (quantity) coz
some cards have less as compared 2 higher cards but still there
performance is good...

1. Yes
2. Ultra>GTX>GTS>GT

All have same GPU but the clock speeds are descending in order. Also
number of stream processors and memory clock speed are different.
Now G92 architecture (in 8800GT/8800GTS 512 MB) is superior to G80
architecture(in 8800GTS 320 or 640 MB/8800GTX/8800Ultra). Hence, better
to have G92 8800GTS than G80 8800GTX/8800 Ultra. G80 cards are also
wayyyyyyy to expensive compared to G92 cards.

3. Dont know properly.

But the game will not lag(slow/hang) in 256 MB DDR3 as compared to
512MB DDR2
dat means 512 ram does not matter as compared with 256MB ram

Btw what r the pls points of both the cards if compared

More vram is needed when u run games in higher resolutions.
Upto 1280*1024 u wont find much of a difference in FPS.

But higher than that, 256 mb cards will give u lesser fps than 256 mb.
DDR3 is the way to go rather tha DDR2.
