Is there any way to find out the frequency of your ram.
hi friends!
well currently i m having 512mb ddr ram.but i dont have any idea of its frequency. is there any way to find out its frequency.
well if i plan to upgrade my ram then for which one should i go : another 512mb module
or an 1gb module.
btw whats the current price of one 512mb ddr module .
please do reply thanks.

It is written on the RAM chip.

Ask your pocket. 512 may give your dual channel, and 1 Gb will give more memory.

well is it not possible to find it out through any s/w so that it gets displayed on the desktop.

^^You can use everest to find out the frequency of your ram.
It will be shown in the BIOS also..
