Exclamation HHD problem or RAM problem??


Hey, my computer has got a big problem, while iam using the computer it suddenly falls asleep, like the monitor goes off, then it cant come on, and the computer is not responding, not even switching off. what would be the problem?? is it an os problem?? or a RAM or is it a HDD problem. Would really really appreciatesome help, thanx in advance!

p.s. the grafics is now at the moment really rally poor for games.

If its problem of either RAM or HDD, than it is HDD. check for bad sector in HDD.

Try seagate tools to check hdd, memtest for RAM

Just do check your power options in Control Panel that it is not set to go in stand by mode after few minutes etc..Sometimes due to BIOS / Mobo limitations the PC may fail to come out of such modes!

If there's any short circuit due to exposed wires etc in SMPS the system will abruptly shut down.

or is it temperature threshold shoot up??? If you have intel board, then you can install this power/temperature monitor tool that comes with the motherboard and see the temperature to verify this point too.

Also, did you install off late any software after which you started getting this problem. If so, try uninstalling it and see.
